Rebecca serves as Regulatory & Compliance Manager for North America at Bossard, a global supply chain and engineering solutions company. She is passionate about serving the Cedar Valley and helping individuals overcome barriers, build stability, and achieve long-term success in their communities.
Steven C. Staats
Vice President
Steve has served with the Black Hawk County Jail Ministry for roughly thirty years. He carries a strong desire to see life get better for men coming out of incarceration.
Arlen Yost
Treasurer
Arlen founded OMJC Signal, a manufacturing business in Ward 4 of Waterloo. He has also worked with Business As Missions, which makes micro-loans in countries such as Kenya so people can start small businesses and strengthen their local economy.
Daniel Shafer
Board Member
Dan is Prison Reentry Coordinator for Catholic Charities in Mason City and Waterloo, providing case management around housing, employment, and financial stability. He also trains and coordinates volunteers for mentoring and circles of support and accountability. He holds a Master of Education from Kaplan University and a bachelor’s in Pastoral Ministries from Nazarene Bible College.
Kevin Taylor

Kevin is an instructor and lab assistant at the Automation and Robotics Center at Hawkeye Community College, and a Drill Sergeant in the Army Reserves. He previously served as Director of Operations for Ceilley Pallets in Northeast Waterloo. He is focused on employment, business, and leadership training for men leaving incarceration.
Zachary Mitchell

Zach is a minister at Impact Church of Hope in Waterloo. He has direct ties to the community and a clear-eyed sense of what men face when they come home.
